The advert I have chosen is a chocolate bar called Aero Chocolate. The advertisement was aired in 2009 where they had gotten a skateboarder to promote the chocolate bar and entertain. The audience is shown a profession skateboarder doing amazing stunts through brown balloons which denote the chocolate bubbles in the chocolate bar.In the advert the song ABC by Jackson 5 was played in the background which makes the advert fun and light to watch. It makes the audience feel optimistic and appeal to the advertisement.
Pantene Commercial - Selena Gomez

The advert I have chosen is promoting a hair shampoo called 'Pantene' which is specifically made for women. The advertisement was released in 2015 where they used to famous singer and actor Selena Gomez to inspire women. The message she wanted to put out there was that 'Strong Is Beautiful' to appeal to the targeted audience. The advert was first aired during the MTV Video Music Awards commercials to create awareness to all viewers to promote the product. The advertisement was also printed onto magazines where it was even made the front cover.
In the advert she had used her own song to even promote called 'Good For You' which also connects to the advert as they are creating a message, enforcing that using Pantene shampoo is good for you, and your hair as it makes it healthy and shiny and beautiful. It also creates a brand of confidence and beauty within women, which appeals to the targeted audience.
In the print ad for the Pantene shampoo advert, in the first image Selena's hair is shown to be blow dried and full of volume. Her hair is portrayed as healthy and shiny and this will make the mass audience envy her hair and have the urge of purchasing the shampoo.
